Article Processing Charge (APC)

Effective January 2027, the article processing charge (APC) for publishing an article in the ASEAN Journal of Science and Engineering (AJSE) will be USD 1,000. The APC supports the costs of managing the editorial and peer-review process, manuscript administration, copyediting, typesetting, publication of the final article, website maintenance, and long-term online access. It also helps AJSE make published articles freely available to readers without a subscription.

The APC is payable only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. Submission and peer review do not require payment, and payment does not influence editorial decisions or guarantee acceptance. Every manuscript is evaluated according to the journal’s scope, scholarly quality, and editorial policies.

Authors are responsible for covering all bank transfer and administrative fees. Please include the manuscript ID or paper ID in the payment description or transfer note.
The APC must be paid within seven days after the payment notification is issued. After completing the payment, authors must submit the payment receipt to [email protected]
